23 April 2024

Les Jardins de Marqueyssac and Les Jardins d’Eyrignac, located in the Dordogne, are two of the most beautiful gardens in the Périgord, each offering a unique experience.
The Jardins de Marqueyssac
These hanging gardens are located in Vézac, perched on a cliff offering a spectacular panoramic view of the Dordogne valley. They are famous for their 150,000 hand-pruned box trees, forming poetic and labyrinthine patterns. The site also offers shaded paths, waterfalls and a via ferrata for the more adventurous. In the evening, the gardens are sometimes illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere.

Les Jardins d’Eyrignac: Located in Salignac-Eyvigues, these French-style gardens are distinguished by their elegance and symmetry. They are renowned for their precisely sculpted topiaries, representing geometric and plant shapes. The estate also includes fountains, rose-lined paths and floral spaces, evidence of refined horticultural art.
These two sites combine nature, art and history, offering visitors exceptional landscapes and an immersion in the elegance of Périgord gardens.
